Hello Friends,
Today the clock rolled over as I celebrated another year of this fabulous life God has given me. I’m so very blessed for all the love He has allowed to flow into my heart by His touch and through family and friends.
As I was on my morning walk today, I thought about love and how I have learned to receive it from those around me. When I was young I was told, I love you many times, but what followed those words was not loving at all. The words were used more as an apology for abuse and wasn’t genuine. So, I really didn’t think love was something to be valued or believed in. The words were over used with no outward expression of truth.
I’m so grateful that I have learned how to experience love. You may struggle in that same way after enduring trauma or heartbreak from those who claimed to love you. I understand that and pray that God will bring healing to your heart.

Ministry Update:
Unfortunately, we were not able to raise enough funds to do the book giveaway for the prison outreach program as we hoped. But I’m not discouraged, God is faithful and there will come a time that we will be able to do it. Thanks to those who did contribute, we’ll hold those funds in reserve until we can reorder the books.
I am coming off a very busy time and have been so blessed to see God move in such powerful ways. Many hearts were touched as I did the first workshop for sex offenders. The Texas Sex Offenders Treatment Program (SOTP) prison offcials have already asked for another session which I will be doing June 27. We will be filming and I will send a video clip out as soon as its available.
Additionally, along with Women’s prison outreach and Women’s conferences, God is restoring so many with hope and healing. I’m truly blessed to get to do what I do. Take a look at a short clip of one of my recent women’s events. Marti’s Video Clip – You Tube
